My tool is made by Mac but has been discontinued
recently.
If the link does not work, go to www.snapon.com and
search for "injector socket" and it will pull up this
one and one other for Mercedes which is the wrong one.
6.2 engines hadve Bosch injectors as OEM.
ASLO regarding your leak. One other defect that I had
over the last ten years of my M1009 being my daily
driver was the pump sprouted a leak (seep) around the
horizontal pivot rod and leaked from the left side of
the pump. It would fill up the valley with fuel and
then drip off the back. Remove the air filter and run
at idle if you can tolerate the noise.
Lifters can be removed and replaced with a special
tool without removing the heads but it takes a full
day (without removing the heads). It makes better
sence to remove the heads so you can check the top of
the block and change the possible blown head
gasket(s) too. You will need new head bolts. They
are torqued to a certain number and then stretched by
turning 90 degrees regardless of torque.
I can get you the intimate details if you e-mail me
off the list. Bolts are about $100 form GM or from
most auto parts stores and gaskets areabout 20 to $30.
It's cheap insurance. A set of lifters are about
$300 from GM alhough probably a little cheaper from a
quality parts house.

They normally do an exchange rather than rebuild and
return to you. If your CUCV is still 24 volts then
you need to keep your top cover or tell them you need
one that is 24 volts (The cutoff solenoid is 24
volts).
