230 cu in engine will work. An exact swap would be from a Dodge WM300
truck.

Subject: [MV] M37B1 Motor ?
I just bought a 62 M37B1 last weekend that was
destined for the scrapper. Actually looks to be fairly
complete and not to bad of shape in my opinion. The
question I have is regarding the missing exhaust and
intake manifold and carb setup. The engine is the T245
per the stamping on the left front engine boss. Looks
like the county rescue squad that had it in the past
converted it over to a 12V setup as it has a civi
alt., starter, and distributer. Will the
exhaust/intake manifold from either a car of truck
work on this engine? At this point my plan is to just
get it up in running and driving condition and worry
about original stuff later. The engine does turn
freely so I am going to see if I can get it fired up.
thanks
