The transit bus I drove (some time ago) had a high-idle toggle switch that
didn't require any pedal to work. You flipped it and the idle went up.
Produced a fair sized CLICK when you flipped it, too. Our busses were all
GM's with 6V71's with the odd 8V71 or two thrown in.
