It all boils down to safety factor, really...
I probably should have said that I wanted to be not-so-bad-off no matter
what the trailer or vehicle brakes were doing or not doing at the given
time.
I maintain it all, so its not like I feel doomed to a failure. But,
just when you think that it is all going your way, a person pulls out of
a side street next to a bunch of kids waiting for a school bus while
your in a descent with on-coming traffic - a very bad time to find out
that one of the components of a "barely enough" solution isn't cooperating.
Not trying to be scary or pessimistic and I may very well be an
extremist here (we may find out from some others)... it's just food for
thought.
Cheers,
Dan
