Well I never was a tank jockey, but seems to me they told us (many years ago
but still true today) while in a combat/unsecure area to stay away from the
roads as much as possible, seems like all kinds of bad things like mines,
mortars, IED and the like are there. I guess a even a tank would do the
same. Wayne
