Fred,
I think that any communication from the MVPA or any
organization should be on that orginizations website
only. It's easier to point back to a central location
then trying to restate the message elsewhere.
Second regarding press releases most people want to
hear
A. Offical Stance on the issue
B. What actions are or are not being taken in relation
to the offical stance. It does not have to get
technical with the strategy being employed.
What the MVPA needs to do is come up with a national
model legislation and act with local associations to
get this enacted into state law BEFORE the issue of
banning these vehicles comes up. Its easier to be
Pro-Active then Reactive.
Look at what the bigger collector car and other
special interests groups are doing and work together
to get collector friendly legislation passed.
