In the 151 which had a 25 amp 28 volt generator with separate regulator,
there was sometimes a slight draw...the later 60 amp alternator should not draw
if you have shut off the Accessory aka ign switch.. Most folks batteries go
dead because they forget to shut off the main light switch and the dash
lites burn for a week. Lots of us put main battery switches in to keep the kids
from fooling with the stuff... Some of the early MV had the voltmeters
wired to the cold side of the ign switch, being on all the time... this too would
drain batteries in a month. My M275A2 with the two WalMart $28 batteries
started the other day after sitting all winter here in VT with temps falling
to 30 below... Could you identify your informer?
