I added 4 ounces of acetone to 16 gallons today. That's 2.5 ounces to ten
gallons. (.19%)
Previous tankfull I added 3 ouces to 15 gallons (2oz/10G). (0.15%)
These tiny amounts of acetone mixed in the fuel are not going to harm
anything (don't spill it raw on the paint though!!)
It's still too early to tell about mileage, but the car (2002 crown vic)
seems to have a little more power when passing (usually it's doggy in warm
weather). I usually get about 16.7 MPG combined. Last tank got 290 miles
versus the usual 265 miles, but it could just be the way I drove. I'll have
to use this a while, at least 10 tanks worth of gas, to get a meangful result.
