Hi Chris,

It is commonly referred to as 'sand track', that is the name you need
to use when trying to trace availability.

There are in real terms three categories.....
a/ WW2 type.
b/ Post war type.
c/ Shaped sections for mounting on specific vehicles.

Although all are fairly difficult to obtain, a/ is the one usualy found
offered for sale.
