Recently we bought a Chevorelet C15, 15 CWT 4*2. It is in need of a lot
of restoration. One thing which is missing is the engine. We have
decided that as the original engine is not with it, we would put a
modern diesel engine in it's place. Although it is a long time off until
we put the engine in, I would like to start looking around to get one.
Does anyone have any suggestions on size, bearing in mind that it may be
callrd upon to pull a one and a half ton gun.
Another question is how rare are the 4*2 chevs in England, we were told
this was one of about three in England, the rest being 4*4s, but the
bloke who told us has never been that relieble on infomation.
