Chris, I have a 65A1 with a A2 engine (Zenith carb with a mixture
adjustment). I have a similar
problem and like you have rebuild the carb, I soaked mine for a week. My
guess is maybe
float that is sticking or a mixture adjustment problem. Assuming that
the fuel pressure is OK
and the diaphragm is OK. My jeep needs about a finger width of choke
after it warms up to
keep it from bogging, I talked to a guy in New York that has three 151's
and 2 of them
need the choke pulled out to run clean. I have another carb that has
been rebuilt and
will try that one soon. Setting the choke works for me, and after it
warms up I don't need to
readjust it, but I would like to find out what cause this problem, At
least yours ran good for
a short time, you would think there is a fix for this problem.
