Sounds like the tank is dirty and the fuel filters obstructed to the
point where normal delivery is affected. I'd pull the tank and have it
professionally cleaned (they use weak { phosphoric ?} acid ) before you
clean the carb again. If available new fuel hoses too. My WC 53
dumped about three pounds of muck when emptied, no wonder the poor
thing didn't run right.
