With out knowing more about your problem than this I would suggest a minor
electrical rebuild if one hasn't been done recently. Start with the coil and
see if this helps. Then do the wires, points, condenser, plugs, etc. I had a
problem like you describe with a 47 CJ. Turned out to be the coil overheating
due to a short.
