Dear Miss Ginna and Mr. Dave in Flagstaff,
the former mine-sweeper (ex Canadian Navy) of The Duke (John Wayne) is still
alive and in perfect working order! It is named "The Blue Goose" and I have
in my collection one of the "Blue Goose" coffee mugs !!!
In my next message I shall tell you where it is today (I do not have it on
hand at the moment!), I think San Diego... Well, to be sure wait my next
message.
I do not know if The Duke did go to Alaska for ice for his drinks...
However, I know that he loved sea very much so he spent as much time as
possible on his "Blue Goose".
To Dave:
I have been to Tucson last year in July because of Tombstone: here in Italy
the O.K. Corral Gunfight is very popular!!! Unfortunately, I had no time to
visit the Pima Museum, but next time...
Keep them rolling!
