[MV] Pedastal/Gun - M38A1...

My jeep (53 M38A1)has the machine gun mounting plate on the rear frame cross
member. IF (and I emphisize IF) I were to get a machine gun for it and
pedastal mount, what would it be?

Is the M4 Pedastal mount correct with the .30cal Browning for this
vehicle/period, or is there some other combination that was more 'likely' to
have been installed?

Second question is where is the best source to secure the required items?
