Hi Steve,

Nothing snobbish about defining between 'jeep', the slang term used by
all the 'Allies', in WW2 to describe the Willys and Ford 'GP's'. And
'Jeep', a registered name used by US vehicle manufacturers after the
war, hoping to obtain a sales advantage by an assimilation with the
known virtues of the former.
That's exactly what they are, two different definitions !
