Everyone dreams about the Jeep or any other vehicle in the
crate or left in the barn since 1945. Sometimes this dream
comes true...
What I don't like are collectors who make wrong descriptions
in classifieds and magazines. Even if you ask them for details,
you only get over enthusiastic descriptions. If you now do
a long journey, only to see that the owner has told you
wrong things, this is no fun, this is a fraud.
In the last years some disappointed customers went to the
law court and sued the owner for paying the costs of the
journey to see the vehicles. If the owner has really made
wrong descriptions (and you can proof this) he has to pay.
This is not cheap. Minimum is DM .5 per km (44 cents per mile)
plus the law-costs.
Hope the hunt is more successful next time...
