[MV] MB Engine Block

I am in the process of restoring my 44 MB. My main concern is the engine
block. There is a crack that comes off one of the valve seats. Sometime
before 1953, the crack was drilled and plugged but this did not fully
correct the problem. The engine runs well but the cylinder is of course
losing compressing. I suspect the block will worsen until it eventually
fails. Therefore, I am searching for an engine block or a, as of yet
unknown to me, procedure for correcting my current one. If you have a
block for sale please let me know...somewhere within driving distance of
Northern Virginia would be a bonus.
