I do not notice any difference in the steering on my CCKW's or Chevy's. What I
do notice big time is the reduction in noise and vibration.
In addition, the front knuckle seals (older ball sockets) last a lot longer
because the outer axle seals are not wearing and letting GO into the knuckles.
I will ocassionally drive slowly with the FWD lever engaged to throw some
grease up to the upper trunion bearings.
