My name is Walter and I live in MN. I'm new to the list so just thought
I'd introduce myself.
Current vehicles include:
'66 Unimog cargo
M37
M54
I would like to acquire an M35 and was wondering if anyone had some
opinion on these vehicles they could share with me.
A friend of mine has a cabin in Ontario, Canada and it would be good to
have a vehicle to use on these roads on the winter. I'm looking at about
a 200 mile drive on the highway to get there, and then 25 miles of
unplowed lumber road to get to the cabin.
I have no experience with the M35 6x6 and would like to use it for this
purpose, and some recreational driving around.
What engines are best in these vehicles?
MPG?
Road noise?
How deep snow could I expect to drive through?
Tire chains recommended?
I know these vehicles are great for cabin noise on the highway. I think
once I get the truck out there, I would leave it on the farm and just use
it for the 25 mile lumber road ride, and maybe bring it back home every
once in awhile.
Thanks in advance - Walter in MN
