I am, admittedly, not very familiar with what various vehicles are
able to do, least of all gradeability, but I have a book that
describes the Lamborghini LM series of trucks (which were submitted
to the Italian military to be standard 4x4 type vehicles - didn't
quite make it). They were described as being able to go up 70%
grades. The author said that it was very uncomfortable for the
passengers and that the front wheels were off the ground for part, if
not all, of the drive.
