Hi All,
The removal of the ignition rotor arm is quite effective against the
opportunist thief, they don't tend to carry a selection of 50yr old ignition
components; this was the preferred immobilisation method legally required
here during the last scuffle to deny the use of any vehicle to the expected
paratroops.
This isn't too clever though on anything with a RR B Range engine as the
distributor is water sealed in a bolted alloy casing needing an inordinate
amount of spanner work for access.
On the smaller vehicles your own personal Denver Boot would surely be as
good as anything.
If there's enough money in it though the professionals will have it away no
matter what.
