[MV] MV Survival Rate

Does anyone have an educated guess as to the survival rate of various military
vehicles? Everyone pretty well agrees on the total number of WWII jeeps
produced, and I've read that the survival rate in a combat zone was about 60
days. Combine this with the stories about pushing vehicles into the bay from
ships, and the other "story" that most WWII MVs in the US never left the US;
just how many of these things are left around.

Example 1: I own a 1942 GPW, SN 14914, DOD 4/10/42 Scipt Body. I know that
this is in the first contract of 15,000 to Ford, but how many of this 15,000
are still around??? 10,000 - 5,000 - 1,000 - 100 ???

Example 2: Recently purchased M422 SN 518 DOD 12/21/60. Bender says 1250
produced; how many left?? 500 - 200 - 20 ??

I recently saw an ad in a couple of antique vehicle papers that the Wisconsin
DUKW group was looking for more DUKW's, They already have a fleet of 85, and
are looking for more. (Much to the dismay of us poor souls who would love to
have just one). But the point is that in this ad they said that there are an
estimated 600 operational DUKW's left. If GMC produced X number of DUKW's,
then 600 divided by X will give an approximate percent of survival of these
vehicles. (If the 600 number is right.)

Sorry to be so long winded, but does any one of our list who digs around in
the archives, and/or obscure web sites have any idea about survival rates?
