I think 600 may be conservative for DUKW survival, but they were
exceptional vehicles (I have #14962) and of the 22,000 made I'd put the
survivors at about 1000. Must be a couple of hundred in the UK alone
that are just about surviving. interestingly the survivors stretch
back right to the chassis numbers in the low hundreds. GPAs were less
well cared for, I think the GPA page has details of about 150+
survivors from 11000 made, but there is probably the same again hidden
in corners somewhere. I'd put forward a survival rate of 1 to 5%,
depending on the original production, distribution, and use of the
vehicles. Gordon
