[MV] 1942 GPW Footman Loop Coordinates

Hi List,

Time to request assistance again. I have just finished replacing the
rear panel on my 1942 GPW with a straight repro which has no holes
drilled for the footman loops. The old one closely resembled swiss
cheese. Would anyone be willing to provide measurements on the exact
location of the footman loops (both vertical and horizontal)? I have
the footman loops for width of the two holes, so I just need
measurements from the edge seam to the center of each loop. Are the
holes drilled through the bottom flange of the cross brace in the rear
panel, or are they below the cross brace altogether? Also, I am
assuming the correct fasteners are 10/24 x 1/2" flathead machine screws
with lock washers and square nuts. Is that right?

Alternatively, if someone near Kent, WA would be willing to let me take
measurements myself, that would be more fun for me anyway.

One other question...photos show two roundhead machine screws passing
through the rear panel just outboard of the pintle hook, one on either
side. What is behind the panel that these hold? Are there clamps to
hold the tail light wiring?

Thanks in advance for the help.
