[MV] GPW fuel(?) problem

My GPW idles fine but when driving, it sputters and dies, sometimes pulling
out the choke will help it recover for a short time. The problem originally
started after about ten miles of driving about 40mph. Before the first
incident, it was running pretty well. The carb was just rebuilt by a
reputable(?) firm and should be OK. Any ace mechanics with an idea about this
one?
