They are looking for stationary ground targets to test air-to-grd weapons
system. Better move the halftrack into a garage. :)

Awhile back there was a thread about AWac testing , I live about 20
miles from McDonald Douglas east mesa Apache helocopter plant, i have my
halftrack parked in the front yard, i have noticed an increase in there
flyovers, i was wondering if they could be testing the thermal and IR
and other devices?
