Don't feel unusual about your halftrack being used as a target. When I lived
in Nebraska it was common practice for the B52's and others flying out of
Offut(sp?) AFB to use steel farm buildings as targets for their electronic
bombing practice gear. Lots of low levelflybys and sonic booms. After enough
complaining and one fed up farmer taking a pot shot at one because they kept sc
aring his cattle, they scaled back some. The farmer got a not so friendly visi
t by some guys in dark suits and government cars though.
