I'm not an expert on 715's but I do believe that there is no grill in front
of the radiator and the spare tire was mounted under the rear of the truck.
As far as the "plates" you talk of i'm not sure if you mean the floor pans?
or if you mean the rocker panels. I would guess the rocker panels (under
the doors on the body tub). The rocker panels is a common place to be
rotted out. I do have 2- 715's and I can answer any other questions you
might have. Although I may not be right I think I have a good idea. As for
a price on what you describe I for sure would not give 4500$. I would
probably offer 1500 if it is running and in driving condition. I just
bought one for 2200$ in better shape than you described plus the appropriate
winch for it.
