Yes, the early smaller fuel tank caps came on jeeps with matching driver =
seats. I guess when the
large filler tank came along they just changed the seat pan.

This jeep should be on a Ford chassis by now, correct ? Also the serial =
is outside the VEP range and into
the contract starting 2010xxxx range. Did you find its US bonnet number =

flat all round, it's actually raised and ribbed in places.

In general there's oodles of changes. Todd Paisley has miles of notes on =
this one.
Early VEP GPW's, had round mufflers, later ones like yours oval.
