Makes sense. If you think of it, if all of the bearing have appropriate
lubrication and they should since everything thing is manual, then the
amount of heat generated in the axles and transfer case should be much le=
ss
than if it was actually propelling itself down the road. I don't think I=

even bother to disconnect the prop shafts, just pull it.

Didn't disconnect anything in drive train, just put it all in neutral. =

Burned out
a front wheel bearing, but I don't think that was related to the towing. =

750 miles
behind a U-Haul truck. Didn't exceed 55 mph though.<
