[MV] 10.50 X 16 tires

Today I picked up a couple of 10.50 X 16 SL tires (8PR) made by
Pennslyvania. They have the typical US MIL type tread pattern. We deal
with a lot of tires and have never seen these before. Does anyone know if
they were used by the US and for what?
