I thought production started in 52 as well. By the way, has anyone else =
noted that in the M38A1 series, there seem to be a lot of them between 52 =
and 54 and then again in the early 60's. I am curious as to whether the =
yearly production numbers would show a trend like this too. It would be =
odd for there to be a spike up at the same time the 151 was coming on the =
scene. I also have a question about the Chinese SKS if someone could =
touch base with me off line I would appreciate it.

I have complete rear axle complete, grill, oil pan, NOS front drive shaft,
oil pump, air cleaner, and some other stuff. I sold my M38A1. I thought
they did not start making M38A1's til 1952. I had a 52 with serial #18060
Hood #20960186.
