We're preparing to begin working on our M38A1, (which needs a lot of work)
and I was hoping someone could give us a few pointers on surface
preparation before painting. What's the best method for preparation? Best
stuff for redoing the frame?
For one thing, would the vehicle have been primed? And
what color would that primer have been in the military. Also, we've seen
the color listed as a semi-gloss OD, but the original color under the hood
for
ours was a flat OD, which we like better. Any references or suggestions?
