[MV] MB/GPW and Kenworth (?) Speedometers

Hi List:

Requesting more jeep minutia from the learned experts... I found an
original MB/GPW speedometer at a swap meet yesterday, including the trip
odometer, in very good working condition, but missing the glass and
bezel. It cost me $1.00! I don't think I will have any trouble getting
a replacement bezel and glass from a local speedometer rebuilder.
Here's the question though...

I believe my very early production GPW should have the so-called
"paint-can lid" gauges. In fact, my fuel gauge and temp gauge are like
this. Was the speedometer the same, or did it simply have a normal
bezel like all the rest I see?

By the way, I would like to offer my old speedometer for sale. It is
not a GPW/MB speedometer, but is exactly the same size and it is in very
good condition. It has a scale of 0 - 80, the odometer is on the bottom
(no trip odometer) and it says MILES PER HOUR below the odometer. Above
the needle is a stylized KW, which I have always assumed stands for
Kenworth, as they are a local company. It's got a black face with ivory
lettering, ivory needle, OD bezel, and looks like it belongs in an MV.
Has a hole in the back for an instrument light socket. Can any of you
heavy equipment drivers tell me what it might be out of?

Please let me know if you're interested in it and what it's worth to
you.
