Jim,
I think Chevrolet started with the pressure oil system to the rods in 1948.
Another change to the head was made in 1963. We used to beak the
rocker shaft in our '62 and I remember it had to be 1962 or earlier to fit.
I'm not positive that it was a 235, but I think it was.
