Having used both (extensively) the German original small filler style is
much better. Even with the right pourers you end up with half of it down
the side of the vehicle when using the US one. The smaller filler on my
early Command Car likes the British copy of the German one, and with fuel
at USD 5 per gallon here in the UK - no contest.
