I would think that, so long as the general populace doesn't feel
threatened, they will accept the declaration that "This vehicle is a
rolling museum.". This means not having an enthusiastic young gunner
behind that replica M2 swinging it across the crowd.
I'm also involved in a medeval re-enactment group, and thus far haven't had
any problems with walking around in armor with broadswords and battle axes.
As usual, common sense should be the guide.
