I rebuilt my WC 53, which came from Norway after a depot rebuild of some
sort post war in the US.

They are great trucks, but they are HEAVY. My WC 53 Carryall (with added
winch from that nice Mr Braden) is 2.5 tons empty and drives like a truck
- good for going nowhere in a hurry but it looks nice.

My WC 36 Carryall is a 1941 4 x 2 with almost the same engine HP, a three
speed gearbox, and it weighs 1.5 tons - want to guess which one I'd rather
drive a hundred miles ? Mind you the WC 36 wouldn't really drive through
a building like the WC 53 can.....
