I see those every now and again. The ones I am familiar with are civvy =
units and were put out by a company called Hough (I think that's the right =
spelling) pronounced huff. Maybe they had a gov. contract.
My dad ran one years ago. The idea was to better see what the blade is =
doing. He said it was a good idea, but they didn't handle as well as a =
Cat and he always worried about sticks or rocks flipping up and hitting =
him.
I'd be interested to learn more about it myself if anyone has any first =
hand experience/information.

A couple of years ago I knew where there was a bulldozer with an unusual=20=

design. This one had the operator sitting behind the blade with the =
engine=20
behind him. I don't remember what branch of service the data plate =
listed,=20
but I want to remember USAF. The only other one I ever saw was in a =
picture=20
of some Marines using one in Vietnam. I've often wondered what was the=20
significance of this design, did it have a specific use? This tractor =
has=20
since been moved, don't know where. Just curious!
