"if at all possible", was my first caveat... the conversion
might need also a change of the driveshaft to the drum, as well
as the proper parts to attach the backing plate, yoke etc... to
the rear of the transfer case, or maybe more...
I don't see why it would not be possible if one's willing to
change more than just the brake...
Doesn't the Hotchkiss M201 use the expanding-type brake also?
