<< Are we a vehicle club or a paramilitary club?
As we fight for "rights" should we fight for vehicle rights or ....the
rights to have bombs, bullets, weapons? >>
We are simply people, is what we are. People who may be a bit outside the
mainstream, a bit off the wall, a bit "different". Most of us are probably
strong-willed, opinionated, and willing to not only stand behind what we
believe, but to speak up about it. And to allow everyone else to do the
same. I dont much care if you agree with me, or my position on life in
general, and I dont much care if I agree with you........what I think we
should agree on, tho, is your right and my right to be allowed to say it,
believe in it, and to live it.....without someone attempting to take it away
from either of us.
When you speak of fighting for "rights", is there that much difference which
right is involved? Doesnt matter to me if someone tries to take away my
Jeep, my sons Boy Scout badge because he wears two little gold earrings, my
right to own a gun, or my right to compose a letter to the editor of the
local newspaper, if they are trying to restrict my rights to do any of them,
they are trying to gain still more control over not just me, but over all of
humanity. If you silence just one voice from speaking, you silence
everyones freedom to hear.
If everyone who believes in freedom..........of anything...................be
it guns, vehicles, speech, appearance, religion, or politics, were willing
stop squabbling over which right is the most important, which right is the
most valid, which right is the rightest, think of the impact we could have
on the world at large.............
That, in a nutshell, is why nothing will ever get done, tho. Everyone wants
what they want to be the most important want..............Whatever emperors
wife said "Divide and Conquer" sure knew what the hell she was talking about,
didnt she? The government doesnt have to worry about shutting us up, we are
too busy fighting amongst outselves to be heard by anyone.
