I think I have identified my recent find as a G7107 1-1/2 ton 4wd chevy.
Upon close inspection it appears to be military. There are no markings or
plates that are readable except "TIRES 55 LBS" on the passenger side dash.
I have not been able to find any information on the truck and I'm pretty
sure it's an early 1940 model, maybe 41. The truck was used in the
oilfields as a welding truck and has a welding bed on it rather than the
stake box. The motor appears to be a 235.

Anyone got any ideas as to where I can locate specs, particulars, etc?

The truck is in pretty good shape as far as rust. Don't rust much in west
Texas and the side panels for the hood are missing.

Any help would be appreciated.
