I am in the process patching some holes in the frame of my MB and picked up
some scrap 18 gauge sheetmetal at a local sheet metal shop. Got some pretty
good size scraps for a buck or two. The problem is that they are very
shinny/glossy and smooth leading me to believe that its galvanized sheet
metal. Can I use this to patch holes with??? Will paint adhere to it??? Can
it be roughed out so it isn't so smooth. I am using a MIG welder if that
means any thing in the equation.
