If it has stake pockets on the upper inside of the side boards, it will be a
civilian, post-war Bantam trailer. I found one exactly like you describe,
but in pitiful condition. I understand from a thread on the Classic Jeep
list that these trailers are worth 3 or 4 times what a MBT is worth. You may
can work out a deal by trading the civilian one for an original military one
and keep the change.
