High Voltage is dangerous, no doubt, but:
is the vehicle not anyway insulated from the mast
sections by the ceramic insulator of the MP 48 base ???
I usually drive with one or two sections only and should
be clear of any power lines. I used to bent down my
antenna, but broke three of the sections at the thread
already when driving and will now only do it when the
BC 1306 radio is in operation and I am in a tactical
situation in the field...or display
