still not what i had in mind.......... you have to assume the same load
on the cable under all situations. you do not use pulleys and more cable
to reduce the load on the cable, rather it is to increase pulling power.
hence one cable with 5000 lb load can be made to double becoming two
cables with 5000 lb load each, but 10,000 lb pull.
