I can attest to the methods of individual vehicle security currently
used..."American" padlocks on hatches on 155mm sp Howitzers, same style
padlock, chain welded to M35A2, same style padlock and plastic coated
cable for HMMWV. Other vehicle security measures involve chain link
fence and 3 strands of barbed wire.

One marine was quoted during the Gulf War "As long as the Army keeps
parking trucks, the Marines will never run out of them"
