Jeff, AFAIK, The 100 amp was for the searchlight jeep with the 4 belt
alternator. I believe it was for the 25 amp harness and where the 25 amp
connector wold go into the alternator, it plugged into a black box
(regulator) which then connected to the 100 amp alternator. If the 25 and
the 60 amp harness had the same alternator plug, chances are that it would
make no difference. 151 A1's are not my speciality (A2's are) but I also
believe that the 4 belt alternator and regulator was part of a retrofit
mod-kit installed when the jeep was fitted in house with the searchlight and
may have been universal. This is what I have observed seeing others and my
own. I have one of these jeeps but the wiring harness itself is missing;
just have the 100 amp 4 belt alternator and regulator and have been looking
for a NOS standard harness. If you want me to look, I can see which plug is
required. So far, haven't found a NOS harness but still looking.
Sincerely, Julian
