As I recall, the 454 with automatic transmission and overdrive is used in large
(class A) motorhomes but they surely have an oil cooler installed....same way
with the 460 Ford. Keeping the oil cool is probably the main issue. If you have
an automatic, my advise; don't leave home without it.Been hearing pros and cons
on the Allison 5&6 speed automatics. Anyone using them to pull the heavier MVs
with? Fred
